Late-identified ADHD? You were too good to spot.

Late-identified ADHD? You were too good to spot.

(that's not a compliment at all)

After years of trying to not be "difficult", I get it.

We learned early:

Be quiet

Don't complain

Make it easy for everyone else

That wasn't "mature for your age".

That was masking.

The "good girl" checklist:

→ Never asked for help (that's needy)
→ Never took up space (that's selfish)
→ Never showed struggle (that's messy)

The result?

You disappeared from view.

For ADHDers socialized to please, "good" meant invisible.

And invisible doesn't get diagnosed.

One way to start unmasking safely:

💜 Name one need today without justifying it.

Being "good" was safe but it wasn't you.

It's time to introduce yourself again.
